The Art Site of Steven Lawrence

Steven Lawrence has been writing and illustrating for over 40 years. He has worked as a freelance illustrator, cartoonist and graphic designer for companies ranging from charitable fundraising to Halloween make-up.

 

In the late 90's he relocated to Los Angeles to work with movie monsters, one of his favorite things in the world. Along the way, he stumbled upon CGI animation and has worked in motion graphics and visual effects ever since.

He has also made three animated shorts of his own.

 

Not long ago he decided to try his hand at making a children's picture book--an art form that has always appealed to him as a writer and especially as an illustrator. In the process he made a whole bunch of new friends...
